Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as biological signaling molecules in the body. They basically tell your cells to grow, repair, burn fat, release hormones, and reduce inflammation, among many other things. They are targeted messengers that can influence a variety of specific functions in the human body.
Renew Aesthetics and Wellness has embraced the use of peptides to help maximize health, function, and well-being. Specific peptides are recommended to mimic or enhance natural processes. They are commonly used in medical weight loss, longevity and anti-aging, aesthetics, healing, and sports performance and recovery.

Peptides are not FDA-approved and are currently considered for laboratory research only. They are not intended to treat, cure or prevent any disease, illness or medical condition. The use of Peptide therapy is strictly off label. Candidates must be free from immunosuppressive medications including corticosteroids and have no current or past medical history of cancer or autoimmune disease.
Renew Aesthetics and Wellness is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), The International Peptide Society, and The Peptide University. Any of our clients that elect to participate in peptide therapy may be enrolled in an independent review panel or case study.
We do not present peptide therapy as a cure or guaranteed result. We use medical screening, informed consent, documentation review, and provider oversight to reduce the risks patients face when attempting to buy and self-administer peptides online.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids (small proteins) that act like signals. Peptides tell cells, glands, immune tissue, gut tissue, skin, muscle, and fat cells to do something. Unlike most drugs they usually do not force the body to do something. Instead, they attempt to send a message to certain receptors so that the body may respond in a certain way. Some peptides are FDA-approved and sold as drugs. Semaglutide (name brands Ozempic and Wegovy) and insulin are examples of such peptides.
On a yearly basis, some peptides are moved from the “INTENDED FOR LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY” to the human trials category (i.e. SS-31) The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently published a statement that they are reviewing multiple peptides for re-allowance to be compounded by compounding pharmacies. It signals that multiple peptides are being legitimately recognized as beneficial for health and wellness. This shift in thinking allows for peptides to be studied more in-depth and to be regulated better to ensure safety.
The peptide labs that we use and partner with have provided documentation that they are based in the USA and that all their products are sourced from sterile labs within the USA. They have provided Certificates of Analyses to verify purity and sterility and all their products are 3rd party tested. These labs do not sell peptides online to the average person and only allow for physician directed use. However, we cannot guarantee their products’ safety and efficacy and the use of peptides that are not FDA-approved is done at your own risk.
There are several categories of peptides. These categories include metabolic regulator and weight loss peptides, growth hormone secretagogues, healing and tissue support peptides, skin and hair peptides, Immune stimulating peptides, inflammation modulating peptides, sexual health peptides, cognitive/ neurological protection peptides, mitochondrial/ longevity peptides, and anti-aging peptides.
Information below is published from the International Peptide Society.
Supports the reduction of body fat and regulates fat metabolism by stimulating the breakdown of fat (lipolysis) and inhibiting the production of fat (lipogenesis). Reported safe in recommended doses. Banned by the World Doping Agency. Not to be used in those prone to cancer. Currently being studied to be injected into joints with hyaluronic acid for cartilage repair and regeneration in osteoarthritis.
May be injected locally or systemically to promote tissue and wound healing such as skin, muscle, bone, ligaments, and tendons. Administered orally for gastric protection. Studied for the treatment of ulcers, inflammatory bowel disease, leaky gut syndrome, and others gastrointestinal disorders. Reported safe in recommended dosages.
A growth hormone releasing analogue it stimulates pituitary endogenous growth hormone. Possible benefits include improved physical performance, increased muscle mass, weight loss support, improved recovery from exercise and injury, increased bone density, cardiovascular support, improved sex drive, neuroprotection, and improved cognition and memory.
Delta Sleep Inducing Peptide is most frequently used to promote sleep (including reduced sleep from chronic pain), neuroprotection, and alcohol/ drug withdrawal support. Reported safe in recommended dosages. Banned by the World Doping Agency. Not to be used in those prone to cancer.
Most frequently used for anti-aging, telomere lengthening, brain regulation, mood support, sleep restoration (by restoring melatonin levels), and as an antioxidant. Reported safe in recommended dosages. Scientific research indicates that epithalon has inhibitory effects on the development of cancer and growth of tumors. Several studies show promise in the regulation of inflammation. It has been reported to decrease LDL and VLDL cholesterol levels decreased, increased HDL cholesterol levels, and improved insulin sensitivity.
Glucagon-like Peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist and Glucose-dependent Insulinotropic Peptide (GIP), and Glucagon Receptor Activator. Most frequently used to improve glycemic control, weight loss, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, osteoarthritis, and obstructive sleep apnea. Considered safe in recommended dosages. Black box warning for the potential risk of medullary thyroid carcinoma and multiple endocrine neoplasia. Mechanism of action in weight loss includes appetite suppression, slowed gastric emptying, and another 23 separate physiological processes. Currently in Phase-3 clinical trials.
Most used to reduce anxiety, support cognitive function, immune support, adaptogenic, inflammation regulation, and to accelerate stomach ulcer healing. Reported safe in recommended dosages.
Most frequently used for its neuroprotective properties, cognitive enhancement and increased concentration, anti-anxiety effects, hypoxemic states (ischemic heart disease, stroke, etc…), chronic stress support, pain, as an antidepressant, peptic ulcers, and heavy metal toxicity.
